Job summary

MiRXES in Singapore is seeking a Research Officer to join the Technology Development team. The successful candidate will focus on developing clinical diagnostic tests utilizing molecular technology, including RT-PCR and NGS.

Ideal applicants will have at least 2 years of experience in molecular biology and a solid academic background. The position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills, ready to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in RT-qPCR and/or molecular biology research.
• Candidates with a strong academic portfolio are invited to apply in lieu of working experience.
• Fluency in molecular detection methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Development and optimization of clinical diagnostic tests based on molecular technology.
• Specific applications of molecular technology in miRNA, DNA methylation, and mutations.
• Troubleshooting, analyzing data, interpreting results critically.
