Job summary

ByteDance Singapore is seeking a senior machine learning engineer to advance risk-control foundations in our E-Commerce Risk Control (ECRC) team. You will work on large language models, multimodal data, and secure, scalable solutions for merchant and user risk management.

You will lead cross-functional projects, develop autonomous risk-detection capabilities, and stay current with cutting-edge research to outperform evolving threats across the platform.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong foundations in ML, DL, LLMs, and multimodal technologies.
• Hands-on experience deploying Agentic systems in production.

Responsibilities

• Advance foundational capabilities of large language models for structured and multimodal data.
• Lead development of risk-focused foundation models for platforms like Douyin E-commerce and TikTok Shop.
• Develop autonomous, Agent-based risk detection solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Stay current with advances in ML and integrate LLMs with traditional methods for risk management.
