Job summary

ByteDance in Singapore is seeking a senior ML professional to advance risk-control foundations, focusing on LLMs, multimodal data, and agentic solutions to safeguard our e-commerce platforms. You will drive scalable, privacy-safe systems and collaborate across teams to deploy models in production.

You will shape risk detection through strong ML foundations, working with cross-functional groups to deliver impactful, high-visibility results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Masters or higher with at least 5 years of industry experience in ML.
• Strong foundations in ML, DL, LLMs, and generative models; solid math and learning ability.
• Strong programming skills and experience with ML frameworks.
• Hands-on experience deploying multimodal LLMs and agentic systems in production.

Responsibilities

• Advance LLM understanding of structured and multimodal data via foundation models and agentic solutions.
• Lead development of risk-focused foundation models for e-commerce platforms (TikTok Shop, Douyin, etc.).
• Develop autonomous adversarial solutions to improve risk detection efficiency and reduce costs.
• Stay current with advances and integrate LLMs with traditional ML for risk management.
