Job summary

Huationg Contractor Pte Ltd seeks an experienced Senior M&E Project Manager to lead and manage all mechanical and electrical works for building construction projects from planning through completion.

You will review design drawings, coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, plan installation activities, and ensure quality, safety, and on-time delivery while overseeing M&E subcontractors and resources.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• 8–10 years of M&E experience in building construction.
• At least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience coordinating M&E subcontractors and multiple disciplines.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all M&E works for building construction projects from planning through completion.
• Review M&E drawings, specifications, and submissions for compliance with project requirements and regulations.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, subcontractors, and authorities on M&E matters.
• Plan, monitor, and supervise M&E installation works to ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery.
• Oversee M&E subcontractors and suppliers, including progress, quality, and performance management.
• Identify design conflicts and provide practical solutions to minimise delays.
• Ensure all M&E works comply with statutory requirements.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspections, and handover activities.
• Prepare and review method statements, technical reports, shop drawings, material submissions, and as-built drawings.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates on M&E progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Manage project schedules, manpower, and resources to achieve milestones.
• Support tender reviews, value engineering, and cost control initiatives.
