Job summary
Grab is seeking a technical leader to shape the PAX iOS app architecture and AI foundations, mentoring engineers and guiding decisions from ideation to rollout. You will partner with stakeholders to define standards, assess risks, and drive safe adoption of new tooling across the team.
You will lead with strong AI fundamentals, ensure scalable, observable systems, and advance practices that elevate engineering excellence while balancing product needs.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years in iOS development.
- Strong AI fundamentals including context engineering, tool use and evaluation.
- Hands-on experience with LLM-powered tools or product capabilities.
- Experience guiding architectural approaches such as MVVM or VIPER.
- Ability to document system health and roadmap opportunities clearly.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical direction of the PAX iOS app, including architecture and coding principles.
- Design and develop reliable AI primitives for mobile development at scale.
- Improve adoption across feature teams with RFCs, migration plans and guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align strategy and requirements.
- Strengthen engineering quality through reviews, on-call and incident response.
