Job summary

Arup is seeking an experienced Security Consultant to lead the delivery of complex electronic security projects across a range of sectors. In this role, you will work closely with clients to understand their operational and security challenges, translating requirements into innovative, integrated security solutions that deliver real-world outcomes.

You will provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from strategy, planning and design through to implementation and operational

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering (Mechanical and/or Electrical) or related field.
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a similar role.
Excellent technical communications skills for bids, projects, research, training and advisory applications.
Willingness to travel to other locations to assist colleagues/clients.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office.
Understanding of the engineering project lifecycle from concept to support.

Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of integrated electronic security projects across sectors.
Gather client requirements, develop security strategy, design, tender management and construction support.
Provide specialist expertise in CCTV, access control, perimeter intrusion, screening and entry systems.
Manage budgets, schedules, resources and commercial performance.
Mentor team members and ensure health, safety and legislative compliance.
