Job summary

Arup is seeking a talented security systems professional to lead integrated electronic security design across multiple sectors in South-East Asia. You will manage requirements through detailed design, tendering, construction support and operations planning, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Security, Computer Science, Electronics or Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of security technologies, networking, electrical systems and integration.
• Proven experience delivering integrated electronic security systems for complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle for major integrated electronic security systems from requirements to detailed design, tendering and construction support.
• Design and deliver integrated security solutions across CCTV, access control, perimeter detection, screening, entrance control and related infrastructure.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation including specifications, reports, schematics, device schedules and 2D/3D layouts.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and deliver outcomes that meet client requirements.
• Support project delivery across South-East Asia, ensuring compliance with standards, health and safety, and engineering best practices.

Is this role right for you?

• Manage the full project lifecycle for major integrated electronic security systems, from requirements gathering and concept development through to detailed design, tendering, construction support, and operational planning.
• Design and deliver integrated security solutions across technologies including CCTV, access control, perimeter intrusion detection, security screening, entrance control systems, and associated infrastructure.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation including specifications, reports, schematics, device schedules, calculations, and 2D/3D design layouts.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing expert advice and delivering high-quality outcomes that meet client requirements.
• Support project delivery across South-East Asia, ensuring compliance with industry standards, health and safety requirements, and best-practice engineering methodologies.

What we offer you

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Security, Computer Science, Electronics, Engineering, or a related discipline, together with proven experience in integrated electronic security systems design and delivery.
• Strong technical knowledge of security technologies, networking, electrical systems, systems integration, and a foundational understanding of cyber and information security principles.
• Demonstrated experience delivering projects within sectors such as aviation, critical infrastructure, data centres, transportation, healthcare, or similar complex environments.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to prepare clear, accurate, and professional technical documentation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, combined with a proactive, collaborative mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to personal and professional development.
