Job summary

Gate is a leading cryptocurrency exchange with a remote-first, globally distributed team. This role focuses on end-to-end design and management of institutional liquidity programs, including fee rebates and incentives for market makers, funds, and asset managers.

You will model revenue impact, benchmark competitor structures, and deliver dashboards showing trading volume and liquidity contributions. Strong SQL and BI skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years in market maker operations, institutional client ops, trading ops, or exchange business intelligence; crypto experience preferred.
• Direct experience with institutional counterparts: market makers, funds, asset managers, or prop trading firms.
• Hands-on with data: SQL and Excel modelling; comfortable with BI tools; build analyses from raw datasets.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day operations for institutional clients including onboarding, documentation, and fee tier assessment.
• Design of liquidity programs and maker/taker fee rebates and incentives; from structuring to post-launch review.
• Quantitative modelling of fee and incentive changes; simulate revenue/volume and measure outcomes.
