Job summary

BINNIES SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Process Design Engineer for water and wastewater projects in Singapore. You will lead detailed design of process systems, prepare P&IDs, layouts, and equipment specs, and review vendor submissions.

The role requires 10+ years in industrial water/wastewater process design, cross-disciplinary coordination, and ability to lead meetings and client discussions, with testing and commissioning planning.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in the process design of water/wastewater (industrial)

Responsibilities

• Detailed design of process systems for water and wastewater treatment plants, including screening equipment, physical-chemical treatment plants, biological treatment plants, blower equipment, odour control plants, disinfection plants, sludge treatment plants, desalination process, etc.
• Detailed design of ancillary systems including chemical feed systems, mechanical ventilation systems, and drainage systems.
• Preparation of Process Flow Diagrams and P&IDs.
• General Arrangement and equipment layout drawings.
• Preparation of process equipment specifications.
• Review and evaluation of vendor submissions.
• Coordination with other disciplines e.g. civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, building services, instrumentation & control designers and digital water specialists.
• Able to lead meetings, HAZOP, discussions with clients, contractors and vendors.
• Provide engineering support for bids & proposals.
• Prepare testing and commissioning plans
• Process Testing & Commissioning
• Keeping abreast with latest development in water treatment technology and suitably applies in the design
