Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead the design and execution of civil projects, including land reclamation and coastal infrastructure. You will develop investigation programs, review geotechnical data, and coordinate with clients, regulators, and contractors to ensure project success.

The role requires 7–10 years in geotechnical engineering, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with PLAXIS, GeoStudio, AutoCAD or Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• PE license or equivalent is highly desirable.
• 7–10 years in geotechnical engineering with design/project management focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical design and execution of civil projects (land reclamation, coastal works, seawalls).
• Develop and review geotechnical investigation programs and site characterization.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulators to align project goals.
• Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Oversee construction activities and ensure quality and compliance.
• Integrate sustainable practices and assess environmental impact.
