Job summary

DBS Bank is seeking a seasoned senior engineer to lead design, development and delivery of full-stack applications for portfolio and wealth management. You will drive end-to-end delivery, mentor a squad of engineers, and partner with architects on microservices and micro-frontend implementations.

You will promote best practices across the software lifecycle, deploy on OpenShift, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic initiatives with strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building enterprise-scale full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and ReactJS.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and micro-frontend design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment platforms such as OpenShift (OCP).
• Experience leading engineering squads and coordinating delivery across multiple stakeholders.
• Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools and modern software engineering practices is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of full-stack applications for portfolio and wealth management.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions with stakeholders and product owners.
• Drive end-to-end delivery with quality, timely execution, and architectural alignment.
• Provide technical leadership to a team of full-stack engineers including design reviews and problem solving.
• Collaborate with architects to implement microservices and micro-frontend solutions.
• Promote engineering best practices across the software development lifecycle (quality, testing, CI/CD, DevOps).
• Support deployment and operational readiness on cloud-native platforms such as OpenShift.
• Manage dependencies and coordinate delivery across teams to ensure successful initiatives.
• Mentor and develop team members to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Evaluate AI-assisted development tools and emerging technologies to boost productivity.
