Job summary

Virtuos is seeking a lead Full‑Stack Engineer to direct a diverse team in designing, implementing, and optimizing production‑grade tools that support game asset pipelines and workflows. You will own backend services, RESTful APIs, and data modeling across databases, while championing testing, observability, and CI/CD practices.

The role involves mentoring engineers, collaborating with UI/UX, production, SRE, and IT, and guiding architectural decisions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience building production applications as a full‑stack engineer.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in Python (FastAPI or Flask), RESTful API design, and SQLAlchemy/Pydantic or similar tooling.
• Proficiency in Vue or React, including routing, state management, and component libraries.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse team to design, implement, and optimize production‑grade tools and applications.
• Design scalable backend services and secure RESTful APIs using Python (FastAPI or Flask).
• Write comprehensive tests with pytest and own CI/CD with GitLab; use Docker for development and deployment.
