Job summary

BeathChapman Pte Ltd is partnering with a mission-driven organization to hire a Lead Full Stack Developer. You will guide the engineering direction, mentor a senior team, and shape large-scale digital products in a cloud-first setup.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, collaboration with product and UX/UI teams, and strong DevSecOps practices to deliver high-quality software across the stack.

Qualifications

• A postgraduate or tertiary qualification in computer science, engineering, information systems or another quantitative/analytical field.
• 8+ years building and delivering large-scale technology projects, including experience leading or mentoring within a full stack team.
• Hands-on front-end expertise with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and React or Angular.
• Hands-on back-end expertise with Python, Node/Express and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Strong track record with test automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes (nice to have).
• Comfortable in Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams.
• Excellent communication skills; able to articulate decisions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of full stack web applications deployable on desktop or cloud.
• Set technical direction and drive architectural decisions across the full stack.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with UX/UI designers on responsive front-ends.
• Coordinate with AI/ backend engineers to shape server-side architecture.

This is a great opportunity for a senior full stack engineer who's ready to take on technical leadership, working on large-scale, high-impact digital products in a modern, cloud-first environment with strong engineering practices.

What you'll be doing

• Leading the design and development of full stack, reactive web applications deployable on desktop or cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Setting technical direction and driving architectural decisions across the full stack, in partnership with engagement and product managers
• Guiding and mentoring engineers, and partnering closely with UX/UI designers to shape responsive front-end interfaces (HTML, CSS, React or equivalent)
• Working closely with AI engineers and backend engineers to steer server-side architecture using Python, Node.js or similar frameworks
• Championing test strategy alongside QA to uphold application quality across the stack
• Owning troubleshooting and resolution of complex issues across development and production
• Documenting and communicating full stack design decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike
• Driving adoption of DevOps best practices — CI/CD, automated testing, secure coding and sound software design
• Keeping the team ahead of emerging full stack tools, patterns and trends
• Building demos and proofs of concept for end users alongside product and engagement leads

What you'll bring

• Deep, hands-on front-end expertise with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and React or Angular

• Strong track record with test automation and CI/CD pipelines, and a hand in shaping them
• Docker and Kubernetes experience is a plus
• Comfortable setting the pace in Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams
• Excellent communication skills — able to represent technical decisions clearly to varied stakeholders
• A self-motivated, hands-on leadership style with the ability to work independently and unblock others
• Exposure to regulated, mission-critical or highly secure operating environments is an advantage
