Home Team Science and Technology Agency (HTX) is seeking an officer for the Forensics Sensemaking, Integrated Forensics Service (IFS). You will lead frontline forensic sensemaking across crime scenes, drug and digital forensics, harnessing big data to inform investigations and shape long-term strategies.

The role requires strong analytical skills, ability to translate data into actionable findings, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Strong statistical and analytical reasoning to derive insights from large datasets.
• Ability to interpret forensic data and translate into actionable findings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Postgraduate qualifications are beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Undertake horizon scanning and research on best practices for forensic sensemaking.
• Develop and implement forensic sensemaking capabilities leveraging frontline data.
• Establish and refine the forensic sensemaking framework in IFS.
• Monitor system development and forensic sensemaking outcomes.
