Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in Instrumentation and Control Systems Design, Maintenance, and Operations in semiconductor/advanced manufacturing.
• Certification on PLC/SCADA; knowledge of Python/R, Web development, Hadoop, SQL; problem solving and data analysis.
• Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels.
• Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
• Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
• Proven leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable.
• Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron.

Responsibilities

• Champion EH&S compliance across control operations and promote safety culture.
• Lead commissioning, maintenance, and optimization of control systems.
• Provide expert support for complex issues and lead root cause investigations (8D).
• Oversee capacity planning, system performance analysis and expansion projects.
• Review and validate scope, schedule, and cost estimates for upgrades; provide engineering oversight.
• Perform risk assessments and FMEA to reduce single points of failure.
• Mentor/control engineers and technicians through structured training on site.
• Lead post-incident reviews and implement corrective actions.
• Drive initiatives for capacity expansion, reliability, and energy efficiency.
• Deploy SMART power systems, predictive diagnostics, and digital tools to boost productivity.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools and insights while maintaining standards and compliance.
• Promote continuous improvement by sharing AI-enabled enhancements.
