Job summary

HOL Experiences Pte Ltd seeks an experienced leader in experience and interpretive design for themed environments, museums, and destination attractions in Singapore. You will shape visitor journeys, develop zone narratives, and select storytelling tools that align with project vision, budget, and feasibility.

You will guide multidisciplinary teams through concept to launch, produce compelling renders, and ensure that layout, circulation, and atmosphere reinforce the story across all spaces.

Qualifications

• A degree in Architecture, Spatial Design, Experience Design, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of working experience in experience design and themed environments.
• A track record of leading teams and delivering projects from concept to launch.
• Proven experience managing teams on projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong portfolio of realised projects in themed environments, museums, or visitor-facing spaces.
• Proficiency in design and 3D visualisation tools and ability to produce renders and flythroughs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of experience and interpretive design for themed environments, shaping how the story unfolds for visitors.
• Develop the overall experience plan and narrative for each zone, including visitor journey and key moments.
• Identify suitable storytelling techniques and tools in line with vision, challenges, and budget.
• Create 3D renders, visualisations, and flythroughs for client and stakeholder review.
• Develop the design through detailed design, ensuring layout, circulation, scale, and atmosphere support the story.
• Lead projects from concept to successful launch, keeping timelines and quality on track.
• Anticipate design and implementation risks and guide the team through them.
• Coordinate with content, graphics, multimedia, lighting, and fabrication so elements stay true to the concept.
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, present concepts clearly, and develop pitches for new projects.
• Mentor junior team members and support the wider team as needed.
• Understand full project lifecycle from concept to coordination with fabricators and contractors on site.
