Job summary

Thales Singapore is seeking an Equipment Engineer to ensure reliability, automation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of test benches, equipment, and robots within the Maintenance and Production Workshop.

You will lead root cause analyses, implement corrective actions, and collaborate with the Central Engineering team and suppliers to define technical requirements, realise equipment, and achieve final acceptance.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics engineering.
• 3–5 years of equipment engineering experience in high-tech manufacturing.
• Experience with new equipment setup, installation, repair, and maintenance.
• Strong interpretation of electrical drawings and schematics.
• Shift work flexibility and willingness to work across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliability, automation, testing benches, equipment, and robots in the workshop.
• Lead root cause analyses, identify corrective actions, and drive improvements.
• Set up equipment, tools, and resources for new repair and production lines.
• Collaborate with Central Engineering and suppliers on technical requirements, realization, and acceptance.
