Job summary

Amplify Health is seeking a senior technical lead to oversee the software development team, guiding engineers and the product owner to deliver high‑quality software on schedule.

You will shape the technical direction, mentor team members, and coordinate with data engineering, data science and tech ops to tackle complex edge cases while maintaining execution discipline across sprints.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in software engineering and technical lead duties.
• Proficient in at least one of NodeJS, ReactJS, Java or Python.
• Proficient in Azure cloud, DevSecOps & Terraform.
• Proficient in at least one testing framework.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own development of the product build, leveraging technical expertise in the programming language relevant to the project.
• Contribute towards the product roadmap and strategic choices, using knowledge and experience to estimate effort and guide the product owner.
• Attend team stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, retros and be an active participant.
• Plan for the sprint planning sessions, by ensuring the engineering team has work to do and is clear on what/how to do the work.
• Lead solution designs for the product, including complex technical edge-cases, where experience is required to make a good choice.
• Collaborate and coordinate with technical experts and cross-functional teams across the organization including data engineering, data science, and tech ops.
• Review pull requests & guide and mentor engineers on the team.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
