Job summary

Omni Offshore Terminals Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to perform instrumentation engineering activities for offshore terminal projects, aligned with procedures, project requirements and schedules.

You will support FEED/detail engineering, brownfield modifications, and vendor coordination. Responsibilities include designing and reviewing instrument basis, specifications, datasheets, I/O lists, cable and loop drawings, and process control documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation / Electronics / Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in oil & gas / offshore / FPSO / terminal projects preferred.
• Additional training in ICSS, safety systems or commissioning is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform instrumentation engineering activities in line with procedures and schedules.
• Prepare and review design basis, specifications, datasheets, I/O lists, and cable schedules.
• Review P&IDs, control narratives, shutdown philosophy, and loop drawings.
• Review and drive contractor deliverables, close-out comments, and technical queries.
• Support procurement for instrument items and packages.

• Perform instrumentation engineering activities for assigned projects in line with company procedures, project requirements and approved schedules.
• Prepare and review instrument design basis, specifications, datasheets, instrument index, I/O list, cable schedule, JB schedule, hook-up drawings, loop drawings and related deliverables.
• Review P&IDs, control narratives, cause & effect charts, shutdown philosophy, functional logic diagrams and package interface documents.
• Review and drive engineering contractor deliverables, comments close-out, technical queries and timely issue of engineering documents.
• Support material requisitions, technical bid evaluations, vendor clarifications and purchase requisitions for instrument items and packages.

Minimum Experience

Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience in instrumentation engineering, including FEED/detail engineering, vendor package engineering, hull / marine systems, brownfield /modification / integration yard support, site construction coordination, Pré-commissioning and commissioning for oil & gas, offshore, FPSO / FSO or terminal projects

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation / Electronics / Electrical Engineering.

Professional exposure to oil & gas / offshore / FPSO / FSO / terminal projects preferred.

Additional training/certification in ICSS, safety systems or commissioning is advantageous.
