Job summary

HTX is Singapore's premier Science and Technology agency delivering homeland security solutions. We seek a Product Manager to shape software products across initiation, design, development, launch, and decommission, collaborating with users and engineering to ensure successful adoption.

The role requires 3+ years in product management or related fields, a CS/IT degree, and experience with journey mapping, Agile Scrum, and tools such as Figma, FigJam, and JIRA.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in product management, software development, or digital transformation.
• Degree in Computer Science or IT or equivalent.
• Experience with customer journey mapping and business process mapping.
• Familiar with Figma, FigJam and JIRA.
• Familiar with Agile Scrum and design thinking.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Contracted role for 2 years, with potential extension.
• Medical questionnaire may be required during shortlisting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end product lifecycle from initiation to decommission.
• Lead design and release planning with product engineering.
• Conduct envisioning sessions and workshops with stakeholders.
• Create test cases with engineering to meet acceptance criteria.
• Plan launch activities with users and vendors.
• Develop and maintain the product roadmap.
• Provide regular updates to management on vision and strategy.

What you will be working on:

Product Management

• Oversee end-to-end product lifecycle – initiation, design, features management, development, launch, maintenance and decommission
• Responsible for product initiation, design, release planning and features management
• Conduct envisioning workshops and focus group discussions to create and validate customer journey and business process.
• In-charge of test case(s) creation and execution and work with product engineering team to ensure features are developed correctly and meet acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with users and vendors to plan and execute product launch activities such as training, ground engagement, communication plan etc
• Partner with users and product engineering team to develop and maintain product roadmap

Stakeholder Management

• Regular progress updates to management and seek alignment on product vision and strategy
• Product presentation to management and stakeholders (end-users, champions, trainers etc) to showcase product for awareness and adoption.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in product management, software development or digital transformation
• Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent disciplines.
• Experience in customer journey mapping, business process mapping, conducting envisioning workshops and focus group discussions
• Familiar with design and product management tools such as Figma, FigJam and JIRA
• Familiar with Agile Scrum methodology and system design thinking
• Strong written and communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• All new appointees are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure overtime, based on performance.
