Aurecon Group in Singapore seeks a Lead Structural Engineer to drive structural design and analysis for major infrastructure projects, including underground and elevated MRT works. You will mentor engineers, oversee technical aspects and ensure solutions meet standards.

You will coordinate across disciplines, manage schedules and deliverables, and provide value engineering input while communicating effectively with clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Experience in civil/structural design and analysis for infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore and Eurocodes; proficient with standard software.
• Proactive, dependable and collaborative with good communication.

As a Lead Structural Engineer in our Structural team based in Singapore, you’ll take on infrastructure projects, helping shape solutions for our clients and communities. You’ll work across disciplines, test ideas and find better ways to solve complex engineering problems.

What you’ll do

• Undertake structural engineering design and analysis on infrastructure construction projects (including underground / elevated MRT stations and tunnels) and be able to deliver solutions to more complex problems.
• Delegate tasks within a workgroup, act as a technical competent person to mentor and develop technical capabilities of other structural engineers within the team, while providing structural design expertise in overseeing all technical aspects of projects.
• Work independently. Use initiative to resolve tasks or problems that arise at a competent level.
• Prepare detailed reports or sections of reports.
• Ensure that the work meets good quality standards and complies with regulations.
• Oversee project schedules and deliverables, and ensure they are completed on time.
• Provide technical expertise to aid in value engineering.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, managers and Clients.

Your experience and expertise

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Relevant experience within a civil and structural engineering consultancy environment.

Demonstrated experience in civil/structural design and analysis, particularly for underground rail and road infrastructure projects in Singapore and/or overseas.

Strong knowledge and practical application of Singapore and Eurocodes, as well as commonly used structural analysis and design software.

Proactive, dependable, and collaborative team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to coordinate and manage projects effectively, including working across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
