Search Staffing Pte Ltd is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to drive the electrical design and architecture of complex industrial machines. The role leads teams in Singapore and collaborates with India-based engineers and international project teams to deliver projects on time.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of electrical design experience for high-tech equipment, strong proficiency in EPLAN/AutoCAD Electrical, and proven leadership capabilities within cross‑functional engineering

Our client is a leading European MNC in designing and developing high-tech systems (assembly equipment, machine control systems, medical equipment etc). TheSingapore team houses the Development centre and we are looking for the following position of:

Lead Electrical Engineer

Lead the electrical design and development of complex industrial machines and high-tech equipment, particularly for the semiconductor and precision engineering industries. You will be responsible for electrical architecture, power distribution, control panels, cabling and machine interfaces. You will also lead electrical engineering activities, guide engineers in Singapore and India, and work closely with customers and international project teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Electrical Design – Take ownership of the electrical design and architecture of machines and equipment, including power distribution, electrical cabinets, control panels, cabling and wiring systems.
• Develop Electrical Schematics and Designs – Prepare electrical drawings, circuit diagrams, cable layouts and component specifications using EPLAN or other electrical design software.
• Ensure Safety and Compliance – Ensure electrical designs meet relevant safety, quality and industry standards, including IEC, UL, SEMI and EMC requirements.
• Manage Engineering Projects – Lead electrical engineering activities from initial requirements and design through equipment build, testing, commissioning and final documentation.
• Provide Technical Leadership – Guide and mentor electrical engineers in Singapore and India, work closely with customers and other engineering teams, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure successful project execution.

Requirements

• Education – Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Relevant Experience – At least 8 years of electrical design experience involving industrial machinery or high-tech equipment, including 2–3 years in a technical lead or leadership position.
• Electrical Design Expertise – Strong experience in electrical schematics, control panel design, power distribution, cabling and wiring harness design.
• Software and Technical Knowledge – Proficiency in EPLAN Electric P8, Zuken E3 or AutoCAD Electrical, with good knowledge of electrical safety, grounding and EMC requirements.
• Technical Leadership – Proven ability to lead electrical engineering activities, guide engineers, manage design changes and work with international project teams and customers.
