Job summary

STAFFKING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering leader to drive design, tender preparation and cost estimation for LTA projects.

You will review electrical designs, coordinate with consultants and developers, and manage engineering teams to deliver compliant panels and installation work. The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering with proven leadership, strong cost analysis and negotiation skills, and a hands-on approach to project delivery

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in LTA projects is mandatory.
• Proven experience leading and managing an engineering team is required.
• Strong background in electrical design, tender preparation and cost estimation.
• Familiar with ACMV electrical panels, components and functions.
• Experience attending FATs and site testing of electrical panels.
• Knowledge of electrical standards, specifications and codes of practice.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Good communication, coordination and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tender submission deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design, engineering support and cost estimation for upcoming projects and contracts.
• Review electrical designs, tender documents and technical submissions to ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable standards and relevant codes.
• Prepare and evaluate tender pricing to ensure competitive and cost-effective submissions.
• Conduct cost analysis, competitor research and market studies to identify business opportunities and support future project growth.
• Liaise with consultants, building owners, architects, developers and suppliers to understand project requirements and negotiate competitive pricing.
• Lead and manage engineering teams and electrical engineering staff to ensure timely and accurate project deliverables.
• Provide engineering support to ongoing projects and coordinate electrical installation works with subcontractors.
• Understand ACMV electrical panels, including their components, functions and operating principles.
• Attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and site testing for electrical panels to verify compliance with technical requirements.
• Prepare and submit Make Alive forms and coordinate the necessary requirements for power energisation.
• Monitor engineering progress, resolve technical issues and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Support management in tender planning, project acquisition and achieving the Company's business objectives.
