Job summary

Standard Chartered in Singapore seeks a lead developer to steer a globally distributed team in delivering mission-critical features for the bank's Financial Markets platform. You will own technical delivery, collaborate with engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders, and drive platform improvements end-to-end.

The role requires deep expertise in full stack engineering, Java/Spring Boot, and modern web technologies, with strong leadership, ownership, and problem-solving skills in an agile

Qualifications

• 10+ years of full stack engineering experience with deep front- or back-end expertise.
• Proven ability to lead a globally distributed team in an agile environment.
• Strong code quality, testing, and delivery discipline.
• Experience with React/Redux UI, Java/Spring Boot, and modern dev tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior developer and potentially lead a squad of several members.
• Unblock progress and solve problems at team level.
• Own the technical aspects of team delivery and roadmaps.
• Oversee design quality and alignment with platform roadmaps.
• Drive the technical roadmap and improve the wider platform.
