A place where play happens. We’re looking for a Lead Game Designer to own large features and design core mechanics for our creator platform, collaborating with design leadership to translate vision into engaging, high-quality player and creator experiences.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in game design or systems design.
• Deep understanding of game design principles, core loops, player psychology, and progression systems.
• Proven ability to author large and complex features working in-engine or using associated proprietary tools.
• Experience using telemetry, A/B testing, and player analytics to make informed design decisions and tune game balance.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively document rules, workflows, and pitch designs to internal stakeholders.
• Familiarity with the latest game design tools, AI-assisted workflows, and industry trends to improve efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Feature Ownership & Execution: Own the design and implementation of large, complex features and game systems from concept through to live operations.
• Systems & Economy Design: Plan out design ecosystems, progression systems, and loops that provide cohesive player experiences.
• Prototyping & Iteration: Guide prototyping efforts, evaluate proposed functionality, and drive design improvements.
• Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Lead feature discussions with Engineering, Art, Product, UX to build consensus.
• Craft Leadership & Mentorship: Coach and mentor junior and intermediate designers on design practices and aligning with the product vision.
