Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience in fast-paced financial environments.
• Strong background in real-time data processing and analytics.
• Proficiency in Python or KDB for data-driven applications.
• Experience applying AI to data engineering, analytics, or SDLC automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical initiatives across global analytics teams, guiding engineers, contractors, and vendors in a fast-paced setting.
• Design, build, and optimize real-time data processing pipelines and applications with reliability and performance.
• Leverage AI to enhance data engineering workflows, automate SDLC processes, and deliver advanced analytics for trading and research.
• Collaborate with research and trading teams worldwide to onboard datasets efficiently for global needs.
• Build and support robust tools and frameworks for quantitative research and production trading, including scalable APIs.
• Mentor team members, manage book of work, and drive SDLC, testing, and coding standard improvements across distributed teams.
• Influence product design and operations to meet demands of a dynamic financial landscape.
• Serve as SME in Python, KDB/Q, data engineering, and AI to promote best practices.
