Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field.
• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience in large-scale, fast-paced environments.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, development, testing, and operational stability for analytics-driven teams.
• Strong expertise in Python or KDB for real-time data processing and engineering.
• Working knowledge of AI technologies to support analytics or SDLC automation.
• Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery; strong Agile/CI/CD understanding.
• Experience leading and mentoring teams in a global, collaborative environment.
• Ability to tackle complex design problems independently across distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical initiatives across global analytics teams, guiding engineers, contractors, and vendors.
• Design, build, and optimize real-time data processing pipelines and applications for reliability and performance.
• Leverage AI technologies to enhance data workflows and analytics capabilities for trading and research.
• Collaborate with research and trading teams worldwide to onboard datasets efficiently.
• Build and support scalable tools and frameworks for quantitative research and production trading.
• Mentor and develop team members, manage book of work, and drive SDLC improvements.
• Influence product design and operations to meet evolving financial landscape demands.
• Serve as SME in Python, KDB/Q, data engineering, and AI; promote best practices.
