Job summary

TPC Hotel Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Banquet Chef for its Chinese banquet kitchen in Singapore. You will lead production, ensure quality and hygiene standards, and manage daily food requisitions to support restaurant and banquet operations.

The role requires strong leadership, impeccable grooming and the ability to mentor ambassadors, while maintaining strict compliance with health and safety regulations and local requirements.

Qualifications

• Senior chef with minimum two years in a fine dining & a la carte commercial kitchen environment.
• Immaculate grooming and articulate communication with the ability to lead and mentor ambassadors.
• Thorough understanding of all cookery methods.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety issues.
• Ability to lead, mentor and direct kitchen staff.
• Able to work under pressure and independently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a professional running of the Chinese banquet kitchen and uphold quality, hygiene and standards.
• Responsible for daily requisitioning of food items.
• Oversee production and timely distribution of food products in the kitchen.
• Collaborate with Executive Sous Chef/Director of Culinary on planning and menu development.
• Coordinate with F&B, Sales and Conference teams to meet objectives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, licensing and fire regulations.
