Job summary

You will own experimental model and assay strategies, map 2D/3D skin models to key biological questions, drive mechanistic discovery, and translate findings into actionable program recommendations while mentoring others

Qualifications

• PhD with 3-5 years in a similar role and deep skin biology expertise.
• Proven ability to design and interpret complex biological experiments.
• Experience with coordinating multidisciplinary teams and projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead Biological Model and Assay Strategy across 2D/3D skin models.
• Define roadmaps for cellular, tissue, and organ-system models.
• Design, optimize, validate, and deploy molecular and cellular assays.
• Ensure models are robust, relevant, and linked to discovery decisions.
• Identify emerging models and non-animal methods suitable for cosmetics research.
• Investigate pathways and cellular interactions to inform translational discovery.
• Translate findings into mechanistic conclusions and program recommendations.
• Provide scientific leadership and mentor researchers in design and interpretation.
• Build external partnerships to access differentiated models and capabilities.
• Strengthen long-term capabilities through external engagement and adoption of new methods.
