Job summary

7 design is seeking a skilled Interior Designer to lead concept development, space planning and premium joinery for landed and high-end residential projects. You will create 3D visuals, mood boards and detailed drawings, coordinating with suppliers and overseas factories to ensure design accuracy and buildable solutions.

The role focuses on premium division projects, collaborating with management and the project team, and advancing toward Design Lead positions as the division grows.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in interior design/architecture required.
• 5–8 years of interior design experience in premium/residential projects.
• Strong portfolio of landed homes and high-end bespoke carpentry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/SketchUp and rendering software.

Responsibilities

• Lead concept development and space planning for premium residential projects.
• Design bespoke kitchens, wardrobes, TV features, display cabinetry and other customised joinery.
• Prepare mood boards, design presentations and high-quality 3D visualisations.
• Produce detailed plans, elevations and carpentry drawings suitable for production and site execution.
• Coordinate technical details with suppliers, overseas factories, purchasing and site teams.
• Review site measurements and ensure design accuracy before production.
• Translate client requirements into practical and buildable design solutions.
• Help establish and maintain the design standards and visual direction of our new premium division.
• Present concepts to homeowners and industry professionals.
