Job summary

ATELIER BY THE BAY PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned bartender to design and execute an innovative cocktail menu in a prestigious rooftop setting. You will lead the bar team, train junior staff, and maintain an organized, high-standard bar operation to elevate guest experiences.

We value extensive upscale bartending experience, strong leadership, and a passion for creating classic and contemporary cocktails. Immediate start is preferred in a dynamic restaurant with stunning sea views.

Qualifications

• Bartender BTEC Level 3 or equivalent certification.
• Knowledge of wine is advantageous.
• Extensive bartending experience in upscale or fine dining.
• Proficiency in creating classic and contemporary cocktails.
• Strong leadership and ability to train junior staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Knowledge of wine and spirits is desirable.
• TIPS or equivalent certification would be an added advantage.
• Immediate start preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute an innovative and high-quality cocktail menu.
• Lead the bar team, providing guidance and mentorship to junior bartenders.
• Create and maintain an efficient and organized bar setup.
• Ensure consistency in the preparation and presentation of all drinks.
• Engage with guests to recommend and take drink orders, providing exceptional service.
• Oversee inventory management, order supplies, and monitor stock levels.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service guidelines and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure a harmonious dining experience.
• Address guest inquiries, special requests, and concerns with professionalism.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the bar area.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and continuously improve your craft.
• Assist in developing and implementing new beverage programs and promotions.
• Drive footfall based on current customer connection and actively publicize promotions.
