Job summary

Eames Consulting Group seeks a highly autonomous Solutions Engineer to own core financial applications and drive backend service design. You will work directly with business heads to turn complex workflows into production-grade software, architecting microservices and data pipelines on AWS with Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and Aurora.

You will translate messy requirements into robust technical solutions, defend architectural trade-offs, and guide junior engineers through clear, opinionated software

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on coding in Python or Java.
• Experience designing RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Expertise in microservices and distributed backend systems.
• Ability to communicate with non-technical business users.

Responsibilities

• Take primary ownership of core financial applications, driving backend service design and scalable delivery.
• Collaborate with business heads and portfolios to translate complex requirements into clean technical solutions.
• Architect scalable backend microservices and data pipelines on AWS and Snowflake/PostgreSQL.
• Incorporate modern AI workflows to accelerate development and modernize platform capabilities.
• Provide code reviews, establish test automation standards, and mentor junior engineers.
