Job summary

ST Engineering in Singapore is seeking an experienced technician lead for engine maintenance and MRO. You will disassemble engines from modular to part levels, inspect and clean parts, and re-assemble for testing, while coordinating a team to meet production schedules.

The role requires a NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical & Aerospace Technology, with at least 5 years in aviation disassembly/assembly/inspection.

Qualifications

• NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical & Aerospace Technology.
• At least 5 years’ work experience in disassembly/assembly/inspection in aviation industry.
• Prior aviation and leadership experience in engine MRO facility will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engine disassembly from modular level to piece-part level, inspect and clean engine piece parts and hardwares, re-assemble engine for testing.
• Perform assembly or disassembly work at section level.
• Lead a team of technicians to meet production schedule; upkeep & maintain assigned equipment, tooling and fixtures.
• Support and participate in EHS and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance to engine manuals, approved technical data and regulatory requirements.
