Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Architectural Drawing Manager. The role involves leading the coordination and management of shop drawings in various trades, including Architectural, Structural, and MEP. Ideal candidates should have at least 10 years of experience in the Singapore construction industry and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. This full-time position offers a salary range of $5,000 to $8,000, plus variable bonuses.

• HQ at Changi Business Park [ Expo MRT ]
• Mon to Fri, from 8.30am to 5.15pm
• Salary is $5,000 - $8,000+ Variable Bonus [ No AWS ]

REQUIREMENTS

1. Recognized Degree in Architecture/ Engineering/ Construction or equivalent
2. Min 10 Years of experience in drawing coordination and management in the Singapore Construction Industry
3. Well versed in AutoCAD, Revit / BIM Software in Architectural/ Structural/ MEP.
4. Good understanding of the Singapore Construction Industry regulations (eg. Building code, BCA, URA and LTA)
5. Experience in leading a team of coordinators and drafters in Shop drawing production, coordination, and document control.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Involve and lead in checking and coordination of Shop drawings and as-built drawings with all respective trades (e.g., Architectural, Structural, MEP and Specialist Subcontractors works)
• Review project specifications, Shop drawings and technical clarifications
• Able to prepare and monitor the progress of Shop drawings and Sample schedule with procurement schedule.
• Manage submission and approvals of Shop drawings and Samples from Consultants.
• Manage receipt and issuance of all Consultant drawings and Shop drawings
• Liaise and coordinate with Consultants, Authorities and Subcontractors on design issues.
• Assist the Project team on technical and coordination issues with Subcontractors.
• Attend and chair design technical meetings with Consultants and Subcontractors
• Assist the Project contracts department in variation order claims related to design changes.
