Johnson Controls in Singapore is seeking a Senior Application Engineer to lead the application engineering team, delivering technical support, customer quotations and case studies for composite applications. You will tailor Metasys software and in-house apps to end-user needs, design new applications, guide tests, and collaborate with SI and vendors while traveling for opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience.
Experience in transportation composites or other composite applications preferred.
Knowledge of PLC/BMS programming is required.

Responsibilities

Lead the application engineering team to provide technical support, quotations, and case studies.
Customize features in Metasys and in-house apps based on end-user requirements.
Design new applications to meet customer specifications and needs.
Guide engineers in testing, troubleshooting, and product launches.
Collaborate with system integrators and manage vendor relationships.
Prepare cost estimates from blueprints and customer documents.
Create accurate CAD models and develop detailed bills of materials.
Travel to customer facilities for discussions with sales and BD teams.
