Job summary

JOHNSON CONTROLS (S) PTE. LTD. is seeking an Application Engineer in Singapore to support customers with technical quotations and business development cases for composite applications.

The role involves presenting proposals, calculating costs, and traveling with the BD team to customer facilities to discuss opportunities in depth. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Process & Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering with at least 1 year of experience, knowledge of PLC programming,

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Process & Instrumentation Engineering (or Electrical) with 1 year of experience.
Knowledge of PLC programming.
Familiar with Pcvue or ICONICS software.
Experience with composite materials is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide technical customer support with detailed analysis of building management system and costing.
Collaborate with engineering, sales and ops to define design details for proposals.
Create presentations and 3D representations for customer proposals.
Prepare cost estimates from blueprints and related documents.
Generate CAD models for components and assemblies.
Develop bill of materials for proposals.
Work as part of a cross-functional design, engineering and operations team.
Leverage ACMV and Metasys controls knowledge where applicable.
