Job summary

SPH Media Limited is seeking a senior AI/ML Platform Engineer to lead a small, multidisciplinary engineering team while remaining hands-on in architecture and delivery. You will design AI-enabled services, integrate with enterprise systems, APIs and data sources, and drive reliable, secure solutions.

The role requires a degree in CS/IT/SE/AI, significant software engineering and AI development experience, and strong knowledge of LLMs, MLOps, CI/CD, cloud, and secure SDLC.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence or related discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Significant experience in software engineering, AI application development, platform engineering or related technical field, including delivering solutions into operational use.
• Strong understanding of modern AI application architectures including LLMs, RAG, AI agents, tool calling, prompt/context engineering and workflow orchestration.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language and ability to design/build applications that integrate AI with enterprise systems, APIs and data sources.
• Experience with modern front-end or full-stack development, AI-assisted coding and rapid prototyping, plus understanding of back-end services, cloud infrastructure, deployment and operations.
• Familiarity with MLOps, LLMOps or DevOps practices including CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, version control, containerisation and production deployment.
• Understanding of enterprise technology architecture, cybersecurity, IAM, data governance, secure SDLC.
• Experience with enterprise AI platforms, cloud services and AI development frameworks is advantageous.
