Job summary

NTU AISG, hosted by NTU, seeks an AI Engineer to lead end-to-end AI projects, mentor apprentices, and advance AI capability through research and deployment. The role focuses on practical ML, Generative AI apps, and cloud-enabled pipelines within AISG’s national programme in Singapore.

The candidate will collaborate across NTU and industry partners, shaping the AIAP syllabus, delivering scalable solutions, and contributing to Singapore’s AI ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio of AI/ML projects from scoping to deployment and documentation.
• Deep practical knowledge of machine learning fundamentals with NLP/CV or tabular data experience.
• Hands-on experience developing LLM-powered apps, including Prompt Engineering, RAG, fine-tuning.
• Expert-level Python skills with clean, modular code and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Drive tasks from AIAP, AIAP (Industry), LADP, and AIIP.
• Train and mentor AI apprentices during Deep-skilling and Project phases.
• Lead solution development for AI projects, conduct research, maintain AIAP tech.
• Plan AIAP recruitment and update the AIAP syllabus.
• Support industry and community-building through talks, workshops, and seminars.
