Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering or Data Science.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in AI/ML development.
• Expert-level Python for ML modelling and backend systems.
• Proficiency in time-series forecasting (Prophet, LSTMs, Transformers) and constraint-based optimization (OR-Tools, Gurobi).
• Experience with databases/data lakes/data platforms (Databricks).
• Domain expertise in integrated supply chain (inventory forecasting, procurement, warehousing, logistics).
• Strong design-thinking and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End System Ownership - Lead the development and integration of a comprehensive AI-driven supply chain operating platform.
• Inventory Forecasting: deploy predictive models considering seasonality, trends, lead-time variability to optimize stock levels.
• Procurement Management: build automated, intelligent procurement systems for vendor selection and PO generation.
• Logistics Operations: develop optimization engines for route planning and warehouse resource allocation.
• Strategic Leadership: mentor engineers and enforce best practices in code quality and MLOps.
• Workflow Transformation: audit and redesign legacy workflows using design thinking and AI.
• Customer & Stakeholder Partnering: translate business pain points into scalable technical requirements.
• Cultural Leadership: foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment.
