Job summary

MTC CONSULTING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Lead Software Engineer to lead a cross-functional team of software and AI engineers, building an end-to-end intelligent supply chain platform.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, OR, or Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in AI/ML.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and multi-phase projects.
• Strong Python expertise and hands-on AI/ML development.
• Experience in time-series forecasting and optimisation techniques.
• Knowledge of databases and data platforms such as Databricks.
• Strong understanding of supply chain, inventory, procurement, warehousing and logistics.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, containerisation and MLOps/CI/CD.
• Experience integrating AI with ERP or WMS platforms is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and development of AI-driven solutions across demand forecasting, procurement, warehousing and logistics.
• Develop predictive models and optimisation engines to improve inventory levels, purchasing decisions, warehouse utilisation and delivery efficiency.
• Lead and mentor software and AI/ML engineers, driving engineering best practices, system architecture and MLOps.
• Transform legacy business processes through AI, automation and Design Thinking.
• Work directly with customers and business stakeholders to translate challenges into scalable technology.
• Drive projects from concept to deployment, ensuring measurable business outcomes and ROI.
• Build and integrate AI solutions with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Oracle and WMS.
