Job summary

mci career services pte. ltd. in East Singapore invites an experienced Principal Manufacturing Engineer to provide technical leadership and drive manufacturing excellence in an aerospace environment. You will develop robust processes, resolve complex issues, and support production readiness.

You will lead quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives, manage process changes, and work with cross-functional teams and suppliers to deliver cost-efficient, compliant manufacturing solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in aerospace, precision engineering or a regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, process capability, technical problem-solving and quality improvement methodologies; exposure to SPS, DMAIC, Systems Engineering, FAIR and MSA advantageous.
• Experience supporting production, component repair, tooling/equipment, process changes, quality investigations and continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management and communication skills; able to guide cross-functional teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing & Technical Leadership: define requirements, make technical decisions, troubleshoot issues, and establish engineering standards and solutions.
• Quality, Safety & Compliance: ensure compliance with HSE and product safety standards, promote right-first-time practices, support investigations, and NADCAP requirements.
• Production Readiness & Delivery: develop and deploy processes, manage changes, ensure readiness for new capabilities and methods.
• Continuous Improvement: identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, cost, quality and lead times with data-driven methods.
