Job summary

RIOT GAMES SERVICES PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Manager, 3D Character Art to lead the 3D character team for an unpublished R&D product.

You will guide exploration, set a high bar for excellence, and mentor artists to grow craft and production efficiency. You will collaborate with the Associate Art Director and product/delivery leads across Singapore and Los Angeles to align on vision, priorities, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in 3D Character art for games, including stylized characters or cosmetics.
• 2+ years in a lead or management role, providing artistic direction and mentorship.
• Experience shipping game titles as a Senior or Lead 3D Artist with responsibility for artistic quality and consistency.
• Strong understanding of modeling, sculpting, texturing fundamentals, including stylized hand-painted techniques and PBR workflows.
• Strong foundation in anatomy, shape language, form, proportion, composition, color theory, and design.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure the team's work meets Riot's quality bar and set the standard for excellence.
• Provide craft direction and mentorship for the team.
• Support 3D production across setup to final delivery and troubleshooting.
• Balance visual quality with gameplay clarity and player readability.
• Provide hands-on craft support as needed and assist with emergent tasks with leadership.
• Manage lifecycle from selection and onboarding through performance development and exits.
• Foster a highly engaged, creative, and motivated culture and drive high-quality craft delivery.
• Collaborate with Associate Art Director, discipline leads, and production teams across regions to maintain workflow consistency.
