Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore invites an Engineer - Planning (Layout) to optimize fab layouts, improve material flow, and boost factory output while maintaining accurate ramp-plan layouts.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Facilities to validate feasibility, resolve constraints, and ensure alignment with operational readiness. A strong foundation in engineering and cleanroom protocols is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong critical-thinking to analyze constraints and trade-offs.
• Data-driven decision-making in layout planning.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom and wear proper attire.

Responsibilities

• Optimize production equipment layouts to improve material flow and factory output.
• Maintain layout documentation for tool installations, relocations, upgrades, removals.
• Perform onsite assessments with Facilities and tool owners to validate feasibility.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Facilities to communicate layout changes.
• Develop understanding of fab design, cleanroom protocols, and process areas.
