Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is hiring a Facility Master Planning Engineer to oversee layout and space management for new construction projects within the Global Facilities team.

The role requires 3+ years in facility planning in semiconductor manufacturing, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel with basic coding. You will coordinate with global teams and drive efficient design, while integrating AI-enabled improvements to raise productivity and project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 3 years of facility planning experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Experience in fab/facilities layout planning, space management, and construction projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and basic coding/scripting.
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural team.
• Leadership and project coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect, classify, evaluate layout and space management data for new construction.
• Collect, classify and evaluate site layout data to generate benchmarks for future projects.
• Create reports, benchmarking tools and monitoring systems.
• Coordinate with Global and Site Facilities, Planning, Transfer Team, CPEE & IEs to optimize layout and space management.
• Coordinate interface meetings with stakeholders and ensure requirements are incorporated into the design.
• Ensure Roles, Responsibilities and Accountabilities are fully understood by the teams.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency and quality.
• Identify and share AI-enabled enhancements within scope of work.
