Job summary

NO.1 LAUNDRY LAUNDRY PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a dependable Laundry Assistant to support daily laundry operations.

You will sort, wash, dry, fold, pack and perform basic quality checks to ensure garments and linen are clean and ready for delivery. No prior laundry experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided. This full-time role involves shift work, including weekends or public holidays when needed, and offers a stable working environment with on-the-job learning

Qualifications

• Responsible, punctual and hardworking.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail.
• Physically fit and comfortable with standing, walking and handling laundry loads for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a warm and humid laundry environment.
• Willing to work weekends and/or public holidays when required.
• Basic communication skills in English.
• Singaporean Only.

Responsibilities

• Sort and separate laundry items according to type, colour, fabric and washing requirements.
• Load and unload washing and drying machines.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and according to established procedures.
• Check laundry items for stains, damage and other issues before and after washing.
• Fold, iron, press, pack and prepare clean garments, linen and other laundry items.
• Ensure laundry items are properly sorted and returned or prepared for delivery.
• Conduct basic quality checks to ensure items are clean and properly finished.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the laundry area, equipment and workstations.
• Handle laundry items carefully to prevent loss, damage or mix-ups.
• Monitor laundry supplies and inform the supervisor when stocks are running low.
• Follow workplace safety, hygiene and operational procedures.
• Report damaged items, equipment faults or other issues to the supervisor promptly.
• Assist with general laundry operations and other duties as assigned.

Position: Laundry Assistant

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: S$1,600 - S$1,800 per month

Working Hours: 6 days per week / shift work as required

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and hardworking Laundry Assistant to support our daily laundry operations. The successful candidate will assist with sorting, washing, drying, folding, packing, and quality checking laundry items while ensuring that all work is carried out safely and efficiently.

Training will be provided for candidates without prior laundry experience.
