Language Analyst

Job summary

The Internal Security Department (ISD) under the Ministry of Home Affairs invites applicants for roles involving multilingual information analysis, translation, and reporting to support internal security operations in Singapore.

You will work with diverse language sources, identify gaps, and produce concise, data-driven reports for stakeholders. Weekend/public holiday readiness may be required.

Qualifications

• Analytical reasoning, data synthesis and analysis.
• Proficiency in English and mother tongue language is preferred.
• Good grasp of spoken dialects/languages would be an added advantage.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic proficiency in data analysis (Microsoft Excel and Power BI) preferred.
• Past experience in translation, investigative or analytical work preferred.
