About the role
We are looking for a responsible and hands-on Landscape Supervisor to support the management and delivery of landscaping projects. The successful candidate will oversee site operations, coordinate workers and resources, monitor work progress, and ensure that projects are completed according to the required standards and schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day landscaping works at project sites and ensure activities are carried out according to approved plans and schedules
- Coordinate with workers, subcontractors, suppliers, and the project team to ensure smooth execution of site operations
- Monitor work progress, workmanship, and site conditions, taking appropriate action to address issues or delays
- Plan and organise manpower, materials, equipment, and other resources required for ongoing works
- Prepare and update project schedules, site reports, progress records, and other relevant documentation
- Assist in preparing quotations, purchase orders, delivery orders, and other project-related documents
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify defects, safety concerns, or areas requiring rectification
- Attend client meetings, site meetings, inspections, and tender briefings when required
- Liaise with clients and relevant parties regarding project requirements, work progress, and site matters
- Follow up on material deliveries and coordinate with suppliers to ensure materials are available when required
- Ensure completed works meet project specifications, quality requirements, and client expectations
- Maintain proper records and filing of project documents for easy reference and follow-up
- Support the Project Manager in resolving operational and site-related issues
- Perform other project coordination and site supervisory duties as assigned
Requirements
- Diploma in Horticulture, Landscape Management, or a related discipline; candidates with WSQ Landscape Certificate for Supervisors (Level 3) or equivalent qualifications will also be considered
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in landscape works, preferably with supervisory or project coordination experience
- Good knowledge of landscape operations, site coordination, and project execution
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel
- Able to communicate effectively with clients, workers, suppliers, and internal teams
- Good organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to work quality
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Possess good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Working Hours
Monday to Saturday: 8:00 am to 7:00 pm
