Job summary

CONSIS ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a landscape designer to handle diverse landscape design and development projects.

The role involves assessing site potential, coordinating with project professionals, and working with project managers and the sales team on design development and site requirements. Responsibilities include preparing landscape drawings, conducting site visits, resolving design issues, and ensuring drawings meet project specifications.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field is required.
• Strong proficiency in common design tools and software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle a variety of landscape design and development projects as assigned.
• Assess project site potential based on client requirements and conditions.
• Coordinate with Main Contractors, Landscape Architects, Consultants and other parties.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Sales on design development and site requirements.
• Prepare and update landscape drawings: design proposals, planting plans, layouts, details, as-built drawings.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle a variety of landscape design and development projects .
• Assess the potential of project sites based on client requirements and site conditions .
• Liaise and coordinate with project professionals, including Main Contractors, Landscape Architects, Consultants , and other relevant parties.
• Work closely with Project Managers and Sales teams on design development and site requirements.
• Maintain good communication and coordination with members of other departments.
• Prepare and update landscape drawings, including:Design ProposalsPlanting PlansLandscape LayoutsConstruction DetailsAs-Built DrawingsOther project-related drawings
• Conduct site visits with the Operations team or subcontractors when required.
• Assist in resolving design and site-related issues.
• Ensure drawings and designs are prepared according to project requirements and specifications.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Manager .

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Diploma in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Interior Design , or a related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, and 3ds Max .
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with good overall computer skills.
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team .
• Positive working attitude with good communication and interpersonal skills .
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines .
• Knowledge of Horticulture and plant materials will be an advantage.
• Relevant working experience in landscape design will be an advantage.
