Job summary

A global leader in serving science is looking for a Laboratory Technician to support its performance testing laboratory. You will carry out testing, manage data and maintain equipment in a safe and well-organised lab, with comprehensive training provided.

You will perform tests per SOPs, manage data, maintain equipment, replenish supplies and support ad-hoc projects in a world-class scientific environment. Training is provided to build your foundational chemistry skills and safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biomedical Science or related science.
• No prior experience required; comprehensive training provided.
• Foundational understanding of chemistry.
• Strong attention to detail and a systematic approach.
• Good record-keeping and Microsoft Office skills.
• Team player with a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned laboratory tests according to standard operating procedures.
• Record, manage and organise technical data accurately.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and report any faults.
• Manage laboratory inventory and replenish supplies.
• Prepare samples and test materials.
• Follow safety, quality and compliance standards at all times.
• Keep the laboratory clean and well organised.
• Support the team with ad-hoc testing and projects.
