Job summary

Lighthouse Testing Services Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Lab Technician / Lab Analyst to join our laboratory team. You will perform testing, prepare samples, and operate instruments in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum NITEC or diploma or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates welcome; laboratory experience preferred.
• Ability to follow procedures and work instructions.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in recording results.
• Responsible, organized, and eager to learn.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
• Experience in petroleum, marine fuel, oil, water, or chemical testing is an advantage.
• Willing to work 12-hour rotating day/night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing and analysis of samples according to procedures and standards.
• Prepare samples, reagents, equipment, and instruments required for testing.
• Operate laboratory instruments and equipment properly and safely.
• Record test results accurately and maintain documentation.
• Ensure testing complies with procedures and quality requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping in the laboratory.
• Assist with calibration, verification, and basic maintenance of equipment.
• Follow laboratory safety procedures and proper handling of chemicals and samples.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by Team Leader or Management.
